Technical Project Manager

job description:

RWB-I is looking for a highly motivated and organized Technical Project Manager to join a dynamic and growing team. This is a remote position. It is primarily client-facing and will manage technical projects for RWB-I’s customer base. This is including but not limited to managing service and product implementation projects for RWB-I’s customer base and internal projects, through defining and executing project plans, assignment of appropriate resources, ensuring adherence to project scope, taking actions to ensure deadlines can still be met when project conditions change, and communicating project status to RWB-I management and Clients.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and monitor integration projects, develop and maintain project plans and adjust scope as necessary for success of the business.
  • ERP implementation, financial and accounting experience
  • Work closely with integration specialists on each project to ensure task/project deadlines are being met
  • Develop, promote and maintain standards and tools for portfolio and project management, with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget, and within scope
  • Facilitate processes to design and document strategic goals, outcomes and related projects. Oversee development of project plans aligned with strategic objective
  • Strong technical knowledge to include data management and manipulation
  • Facilitate communication with leadership and other key strategy stakeholders, including regular reports and strategy progress meetings
  • Set project planning standards to determine the resources and schedule required to deliver strategies and facilitate a process to allocate budget and human resources to the portfolios, including managing dependencies between strategic resources
  • Ability to engage with finance / accounting stakeholders and influence project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands
  • Develop and ensure effective implementation of key processes and tools to support project portfolio management for all project components (i.e., scope definition, analysis and planning, implementation, change management and deliverables)
  • Develop and manage a process to design/update, approve, and communicate program and operations guidance that is effective and ensures consistent operations
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Experience with project management and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of business systems architecture and development life cycles
  • Strong technical understanding with the ability to work closely with development teams
  • Experience with forecasting and planning
  • Experience working cross-functionally and proven ability to influence the business
  • Possess a thoughtful leadership mindset; operate tactfully and effectively
  • Drive triage short-term fixes and develop long-term solutions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced role in an ever-changing environment
  • Promote a culture of quality and change management by empowering team members and colleagues.
