Post-Harvest / Trimming Technician

job description:

As a Post -Harvest Tech, you will be responsible for the physical harvest and associated plant transfer to the drying rooms, as well as trimming, quality control and packaging of final product. You will be responsible for batch inventory and any associated reconciliation, you will also ensure all inventory is up to standards set in place by Red White and Bloom, LLC.

Accountabilities:

  • Ability to follow written instructions for manufacturing processes to create a variety of infused products
  • Responsible for performing the daily activities in the post-harvest and trimming areas.
  • Must follow all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines. This includes the safe and proper operation of any/all relevant machinery, instrumentation, and equipment
  • Ensure product meets all requirements for compliance, stability, safety, and desired interest by target audience
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping and complete required production and tracking logs
  • Clean and maintain production areas. and all equipment utilized in the processing of cannabis
  • Sets up, operates, and maintains manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to adapt to and implement new methods and techniques for operational and product improvement, technical development, and new product development.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Focus on maintaining continuous improvement initiatives/activities within the operation.
  • Ensure compliance of Red White and Bloom Standards
  • Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
  • Report any improper action of compliance regulations.
  • Following instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.

qualifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma required
  • Must be 21 years of age at time of hire
  • Valid State driver’s license or State ID card
  • Knowledge and experience related to producing medical marijuana products preferred
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively, orally and in writing with various audiences
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
  • Cannabis industry experience a plus
  • Trimming experience preferred
  • Must pass a background check
