General Laborer – Apopka

job description:

Red White and Bloom is a growing facility that continues to develop new and exciting opportunities.The General Laborer has opportunities to work with all departments including Processing, Cultivation, Utility, and Packaging. The General Laborer is a ground floor opportunity to learn about this quickly growing agricultural field of Cannabis – advancing the mission of customer service and brand growth through the execution of RWB’s core values.

Accountabilities:

  • Ability to follow written instructions for manufacturing processes to create a variety of infused products
  • Responsible for performing the daily activities in various areas of the Processing, Cultivation, Utility, and Packaging departments.
  • Must follow all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines. This includes the safe and proper operation of any/all relevant machinery, instrumentation, and equipment
  • Ensure product meets all requirements for compliance, stability, safety, and desired interest by target audience
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping and complete required production and tracking logs
  • Clean and maintain production areas. and all equipment utilized in the processing of cannabis
  • Sets up, operates, and maintains manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to adapt to and implement new methods and techniques for operational and product improvement, technical development, and new product development.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Maintain a positive safety culture ensuring safety of other employees and visitors at all times. This includes ensuring procedures and practices are being followed
  • Focus on maintaining continuous improvement initiatives/activities within the operation.
  • Ensure compliance of Red White and Bloom Standards
  • Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
  • Report any improper action of compliance regulations.
  • Following instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.

qualifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma required
  • Must be 21 years of age at time of hire
  • Valid State driver’s license or State ID card
  • Knowledge and experience related to producing medical marijuana products preferred
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively, orally and in writing with various audiences
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
